DUDE! What a killer day (albeit a bit on the early side. Wheels up 5:30am). I was in, rolling, and done before most people had breakfast. Could not have been better weather for sure. Set a goal of 3 hours, missed it by 5 minutes. My 10 minutes of transition time could account for most of that or perhaps my near-drowning experience where the wetsuit I had was too small. Either way, all food for thought next time. I posted PBs in the swim and bike. Run was on my aggressive side but I don’t think quite a PB. I cannot complain about a single thing.
Even better was Sunday is my cheat day. Nothing like a tri followed by TGIF mozzarella sticks. Seriously, these things are incredible.
